We’re partnered with a nimble and high-output firm seeking a Registered Landscape Architect with 5+ years of experience to support their growing pipeline of fast-turn commercial projects. This position is remote, but candidates must reside in the North Texas region (Dallas–Fort Worth area) to accommodate local familiarity and municipal coordination needs.
🛠 Project Focus:
Most projects are quick-execution commercial sites under 3 acres — including retail pads, QSRs, gas stations, and strip centers. The work is fast-moving, and the primary focus is on producing clean, permit-ready plans with a deep understanding of local code requirements.
🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) in the state of Texas
- 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in commercial site development
- Strong working knowledge of North Texas municipal codes and permitting processes
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Prior experience managing multiple small projects simultaneously
🎓 Preferred Background:
Candidates may come from traditional landscape architecture firms or civil engineering firms with in-house LA teams. Experience in both environments is a plus.
🛠 Technical Proficiency:
- Strong AutoCAD skills (LandFX experience a plus)
- Ability to navigate municipal permitting redlines efficiently
- Proficiency in preparing detailed plans and coordinating with design teams
